They expire, so I have to spend them the day before the expiry date, usually on champagne.

Respectfully, you HAVE TO spend them on champagne? How about nice steak dinners? Unless people are vegans, heart patients, or just don't care for steak, I've never known anyone to turn down that.

What about a steak dinner, or seafood? How about Chinese or Mexican? Champagne is FAR from the only option... it's just the option you've been choosing.

Take your parents / friends or even a needy or homeless person to lunch!
Donate them to a charity or nursing home.
Get meals that you can take home and heat up for the next day!
