Great Britain has always been there for us and vice versa. Well since we kicked them out at least.

Israel and Australia. Australia is the most strategic geographically speaking. They are the US gateway to China and India. Israel continues to act as our gateway to the middle east. Japan and UK are very good allies but are not as geographically desirable as the other two.

I heard once that Australia is the purely u . s . who presented troops for each US marketing campaign.
