Absolutely. No one cares if you're enrolled in a community college while enrolled somewhere else. Even other community colleges don't care. People do it for all sorts of different reasons. My sister was enrolled in about 5 various schools at the same time while trying to get all the prereq classes for grad school cuz she couldn't get into everything at just one school.

Yes, there's no rule against it. They are two different organizations, they don't conspire to stop you.

I have friends who did it because the Math or English was too hard at University level, so they took a lower level course at the Community College to help them catch up. In that case, the University encouraged it, because it meant they don't have to offer lower level courses or tutors or any of that.

I've done it because I wanted to take a "fun" class that's not related to my degree. Sometimes, the Community College teaching is better, it's more hands on, less formal, and the teachers actually know who you are.

But basically, you can because there's no rule or law against it. If someone thinks it should be illegal, they could run for office (but I wouldn't vote for them.)

No... you either attend College or go to Community College for 2 years, and then TRANSFER to a regular College.
