On a daily basis. Yesterday I had to turn the sprinkler on for the first time. It is getting dry here.

Last time I sat outside for an extended period of time, I walked out onto my front porch to get ten minutes of complete silence after an especially trying day with my children. My husband came home from work and as he was walking in the door, I was walking out it. I sat on the front steps trying not to cry and my idiot dog peed on me. It was the perfect ending to my day.

Yes, I spent all day there yesterday planting purple and yellow blooms. Last nite I slept in the guest room downstairs with the window open so I could fall asleep by something so beautiful.

Especially on a moonlit night when the flowers are all in bloom and the air is full of their fragrance.
