It never occured to me that they weren't. Yeah, what else would you be?
The Caucasian race (sometimes called the Caucasoid race) is defined by the Oxford English Dictionary as, "relating to a broad division of humankind covering peoples from Europe, western Asia, Middle East, South Asia and North Africa" or "white-skinned; of European origin" or "relating to the region of the Caucasus in SE Europe."[1]
In Europe (especially in Russia and the surrounding area), Caucasian usually refers exclusively to people who are from the Caucasus region or speak the Caucasian languages
I think that covers it.

Some of them are, others aren't. My stepfather is Sicilian, and he has a mix of Arab, Northern Spanish and South Asian (the last name is Rao.) It's a really diverse place. It all depends on where your particular family traces its origins before Sicily, if anywhere other than that. In his case, he just says he's "Mediterranean."
I'm Native American, and I've met many Sicilian people who are much darker than I am. I don't know if I would call all of them Caucasian, but some that I've met look it while others show the North African influences. All races and skin tones are found in Sicily.

Yes, Sicilians are Caucasian. There are three major races: Caucasoid, *******, and Mongoloid. If you're White, you're of the Caucasoid race. If you're Black, you're of the ******* race. If you're Asian, you're of the Mongoloid race. Everyone else is a mixture of one or more. Example: People from Latin America are a mixture of the Caucasoid, Mongoloid, and sometimes, ******* races.
Since Sicilians are White European, they are of the Caucasoid race, so yes, they're Caucasian.

Why don't you walk up to a Sicilian and ask them what they are? But don't ask them near an ocean or lake or any scenery like that. They might not appreciate the question.
