not sure what you mean by the ped...but the ultimate cheat is:
boolprop testingcheatsenabled true
this cheat will allow you to do pretty much anything. if you press shift and drag the arrow over a sim or an object, it will show you what you can do. you should type it in while you're still in the nighborhood. if not, you'll be more limited. if you enter the cheat whil you are in a neighborhood and then enter a house, you will be able to manually drag a sim's motive level to wherever you want. try it out!
also, the cheat for $50K is motherload, not motherboard.

In Sims 2 motherboard gives 50k.
