This is nothing to mess around with. I hope this is a serious question, because this is a serious subject. Your friend maybe reaching out for help. If he speaks about it constantly he is just trying to get some attention for the negative feelings he is experiencing. However, if he seems suddenly reclusive, is showing darastic changes in behavior or is involoved in drugs such as Heroin or morphine, there is a possiblity he will go down this route. You need to speak with his parents, or him for that matter to resolve this. This is NOT something to fool around with. I wish to god I would have paid more attention to my friend, would have noticed the signs. Dont make the same mistakes. If you haven even a shadow of a doubt in your mind that he may, get him help immeadiately!!

Swallow a bunch or pills, Jump of a building, Stand on the subway tracks, Slit your wrists....if u have taken the decision to commit suicide than the consideration of pain is not usually very concerning...

if you are worried that your friend might be suicidal, call a suicide prevention hotline and ask them for help. Don't try to handle this on your own. Your friend needs help. Get his or her parents or family involved. You can get the hotline number from the phone book.

What a silly question. Can't you imagine how he might try to kill himself? If you want to stop him you need to tell someone and get him professional help. Somebody who is suicidal is very ill. You are not qualified to deal with his illness alone (neither is he). You must get him help as soon as possible: you would be letting him down greatly by not trying to do so. Suicide goes against all our survival instincts as human beings. Someone who kills themselves is extremely mentally ill, please understand this. Get you and your friend some help.

If your friend has already shown signs of suicide, you need to talk to them and/or call the hospital before it is too late. You can OD on anything nowadays, even asprin, so there is no way to "suicide-proof" their home.

i think you should just talk to him and find out for sure if he wants to commit suicide, if he does then tell his parents!!!he may be angry with you but in the long run he will grow to appreciate the action, and just try to be there for him

well there are a lot of things he can do. taking pills, cut his wrist.i'm not trying to scare you.try talking to him. if you stop him at that very moment i don't think he'll be happy bout it.cause they set their mind on it and then the next day they realize they are not dead yet. it's the 'ego'ness that will eat them up.if this happens alot of time, and you see changes in his attitude then you might want to be more careful.

the usual way is pills, or jumping off a high building. Invite your friend to a party in a bungalow.
