I'm still single. .. But, in the future let's say the baby is not as handsome as he was. What will be your reaction then?

Your spouse could have been born as handsome as a movie star and you still have no guarantee that the baby would be cute...let alone handsome. A baby's looks are the accumulation of many generations...not just the parents. So cosmetic surgery really shouldn't be a factor in one's response.

hypothetically speaking then...cosmetic surgery of any kind is a means of bolstering someone's diminished self-perception, or correcting a physical deformity that is socially unacceptable. If a spouse would want such a surgery, the real issue of continued attraction is at hand. You "fall in love" with someone the "way they are" not "who you can change them into!"
People claim that cosmetic surgery won't "change who they are on the inside" but the simple fact remains that perception is reality. If a person perceives themself as "better looking" then they will respond to people differently. If others perceive that person as "attractive" then that person will also change how they respond to those people.
Cosmetic surgery is not always for the better -- a breast augmentation may very well decrease stimulation. A facelift will eventually sag. Although cosmetic surgery is a personal choice, to disregard the feelings of one's mate in that decision is callous. So if your spouse would happen to get cosmetic surgery that you don't agree with, you didn't have much of a marriage to start with....
Meeting them after the cosmetic surgery, neither parent's appearance or intelligence will guarantee how their child will turn out....just ask my ex's GQ cousins who gave birth to yoda...

Yes. That's not a big deal. One can live with facial hair. Many women have facial hair. They bleach which almost become invisible. That's the best way to live with it. Even then though health is a god gift, yet man is supposed to look after, take care, nurture it and restore it be it him, his spouse or his child. No way for rejection on that score.

Can you accept "braces" as facial cosmetic surgery, which in some cases they are?
There are many reasons to "improve" one looks. It is an individual choice. We start our children as teenagers to pull on their teeth to straighten them some, even if the bite is OK.
Later on these kids grow up to get cosmetic surgery.
All part of a giant spectrum. Many cultures do piercings, tatoos, cosmetic surgery, plates in the lips.
Many choose to live as they are.
Your choice and her choice. To each their own!
