Liberals: How can you claim to support our troops, when your so-called support leads them to feeling like this

This is the blog of an American father and his soldier son. You read it. You read it and tell me how you can claim to be supporting our troops, and yet your so-called support is absolutely demoralizing to them! Read it before you answer!

Even here the libs show their true colors. They can't own up to the fact that they're hurting the morale of our troops. So what do they do? One says all our soldiers should resign (great way to show support, moron), and the other results to insults (pity. :( )

FYI, I am currently unemployed because I am preparing to join up with the armed services in April.

The lunatic left are proving they just don't get it. This may be just one soldier's thoughts, but I have heard from dozens of others just like him. I have FAMILY involved with this effort just like him. Why can't you liberals own up to the fact that YOU are the ones demoralizing them?! You and your leaders? Whether you think this war is a mistake or not, it is THEIR effort, and you need to support them in it! Put your petty politics ASIDE for once in your lives!

For all your questioning about where the government will be, I ask you where is the government NOW?! Your liberal demoncrats are in charge! What are THEY doing to support the troops?! How does passing a worthless spending bill by means of bribes ($24,000,000,000 worth of pork) support our troops?! How does stalling to the point where the military may need to cut funding in ALL areas supporting our troops. HOW?!

The troops should know the truth. If you had cancer, you would want to know, right? Or would you prefer the doctor lie to you? The war supporters have this selective hearing/seeing that only allows them to see the war as a great thing. I personally believe that most supporters don't care about the details of the war, they just enjoy war. They get a kick out of knowing we're bombing brown people. They're always the first to say that the entire population of Iraq deserves this war. They don't care about the children being killed in Iraq as a result. They just enjoy war. These are the same sick people who go and shoot deer for "fun". These are the same people would support any US lead war, regardless of the details or motive.........so to answer your question: I find it hard to believe we have any negative affect on the morale of the troops. If the dead woman, children and fellow soldiers isn't demoralizing....then I know this is just propaganda from the right to get us truth speakers to shut up. It's not going to work. Wait until these kids come home and Bush is out of office and the truth begins to come out....do you think they will upset that we were speaking the truth while they were over there dying? NO.

The author openly admitted that Iraq was like Vietnam and the rest was just his own personal opinion that said nothing new. This was not even written by a real soldier.

Where will the government be when all these soldiers come home with missing appendages, suffering from mental disorders, or have deformed children from depleted unranium poisioning that is in the atmosphere?

Of course there are good troops in Iraq. My cousin is one of them. Take a look though at some of the bad troops and think of how the average Iraq citizens think of the average American.

OMG the that guy creeps me out lol. I can't help the way they feel.

I do actually support the troops as best I can even tho I don't agree with this administration or this war.

I write letters constantly.
I have visited the local VA hospital about 5 times now.
Our neighbors are down a father because he's in Iraq, so I help them out with various things like fixing things around their house.

So how do YOU support the troops? Or does that simply involve running your mouth?

It is impossible to say that you are for the troops and not the war. Those who use this rhetoric are not fooling anyone. It is sickening to see people emboldening our enemies and demoralizing our troops without even thinking about the ramifications.

On person does not speak for all of America (sorry George) nor does one soldier speak for all soldiers.
There have been many who have come home and spoke out against this war, but of course I know, you thnk they are traitors, because they don't follow your president, in lockstep unison like mindless zombies.
