Where them!!! Get the most use you can out of them especially since your regular clothes don't fit anymore. Everyone and every pregnancy is different. Do what you need to do! Congrats and good luck. =-)

Most women show earlier and some get much large with second and third pregnancies. You may be ready for maternity clothes now, and you may out-grow the ones you have and have to get more in a larger size.
I bought a belly band or tummy sleeve, and that works beautifully--for now! And I did so because I wanted to be comfortable without looking goofy. I hear a lot of people saying "it's all about comfort," but I think most women want to look attractive, too.
Motherhood should NOT steal anyone innate cuteness!!! ;^)

I'm 3 months and all my old shirts are too tight or short, and only one pair of my jeans button. I just got some longer shirts, without them being overly "maternity". As far as outgrowing your maternity clothes, I know a woman who had 4 girls in 6 years, and every single time she got down to the point where there was only one outfit she could wear in public...and a few pairs of pajamas. She just washed her "uniform" every night for about 4 weeks. I would have just gone and bought some bigger clother, but whatever. You're supposed to show faster with your second baby, but that doesn't necessarily mean you or the baby will turn out any larger than the first time.

It might be due time for you to go shopping for new ones. try on your old ones first and see how much use you can get out of them first and then go and buy you a simple pair of maternity pants and a couple of good maternity shirts. You can lounge around in anything when your at home, so you don't have to go spend a lot of money. I have made my whole pregnancy with one pair of maternity jeans, two pairs of casual kaki maternity pants for work, two sweaters(because i was pregnant all through winter) and two shirts. I've gone to target and bought 5 oversized mossimo brand shirts for $6.50 a piece to lounge in at home and they have been my little lifesaver, they fit very well and still cover my huge belly. Best of all I didn't spend a large sum of money.

the only advice i have is I am at 7 months and bought 3 pairs of maternity pants- and hate them all. i bout five pairs of stretchy low rise sweat pants that look really nice- and they are what i wear the most. You don't ever have to wear maternity clothes- but you do want to be as comfortable as possible- considering how uncomfortable pregnancy itself can be. good luck and congradulations on the baby

Yeah, when your clothes don't fit anymore. A good place to get maternity clothes is ebay! Then when your done with them put them back on ebay and sell them. My friend did this and actually made more $$ from selling them than she paid for them!!!!!

You may out grow them !! LOL there is no set time to start wearing them. You dont have to wear maternity if you dont want, just buy bigger stuff..... some women dont like wearing them and some do.... Some start wearing them the same week they find out..... Good luck

Oh sister-- do I feel your pain. This is exactly what happened to me during my second pregnancy. The muscles in your abdominal wall aren't what they used to be from your first pregnancy--
You just have to do what's reasonable. If you need new maternity clothes then you have to get them. It's always cuter than wearing you husbands / boyfriends clothes. :)

you can wear them when your other clothes don't fit you anymore. That is up to you. I didn't have to wear them till i was 7-8 months pregnant. Good luck they have some really cute ones at kmart, walmart, fashion bug, sears, etc.

I'd start wearing them. Although you can get this thing called a Belly Band that is supposed to help you keep your normal clothes longer. I don't have one, but I know people who do.
Also, you show sooner w/ a 2nd pregnancy.
I understand the expense, but it's about comfort & not putting too much undue pressure on the baby.
