In a free Democracy like ours, to take any politician serious is the end. We cease to exist as free nation, the moment, we stop questioning our Government and our Leaders. Power Corrupts and Leaders are humans, they loose controlled, if unchecked, see Bush, when he got carte blanche after 9/11. In retrospect, it's the fault of the house, our senile reps in Washington and ourselves, to let that fret-boy run a country like he did in the last 6 years. Our grandchildren will still pay the price in moral and material debts for the 8 years of unchecked Bush..

YES, they're a dangerous threat to the stability and well-being of the American Nation, the people, and moreso to the elderly, retired, disabled, the returning wounded Vets, and the poor! They are also a SERIOUS threat to our Constitutional rights, freedoms and liberties... and they're also a serious group of liars!
Terrorists are laughing at our might and our military forces because they KNOW that the inept, inexperienced, incompetent, bungling and fumbling politicians are in charge of the war... NOT the experienced, knowledgeable and well-trained, professional military personnel! This war might've been over a long time ago if the meddling politicians would have allowed those who are best suited to do the job of war to what they know best how to do.

The terrorists do - the Bush administration has kept them busy trying to just stay alive in the Mideast rather than blowing stuff up over here.

Because they say what they mean and mean what they say.
You can believe the terrorists take them seriously. I doubt you could say the same for a democratic administration.
