When I right click the icon, The site coming up is called Spylocked. The icon is a blue Question mark, that flashes a stop signal. It keeps popping up and saying "System Alert" - tells me that there is a number of spyware on my computer. I have downloaded Windows Live Care 1 and the Grisoft, and Spybot programs to get rid of the spyware. My Windows Live care is telling that me the spylocked program is a problem, so I have removed it. Why does this warning keep coming up? How do I remove it from my toolbar and computer?? Thx

SpyLocked is a Dangerous fake antispyware software and it is update version of SpyDawn. SpyLocked is a variant of Trojan.Zlob. SpyLocked display a fake warning message to purchase the paid version of SpyLocked.

SpyLocked also displays a fake warning alert with flashing icon on your system tray. A Pop up balloon warning messages claiming that your PC is infected. For example : "Critical System Error", "Your computer is infected", "System Alert", "Security Alert", Trojan-Spy.win32@mx", "Virus Alert", "Security Alert" or "Spyware.Cyberlog-X".

I got all these information from this site and you can also check it. There you can also get the complete manual and Automatic removal.

That is very difficult, the blue question mark is the malware (adware actually), it tells u you have a problem then makes you download their software to fix it, the software then finds loads of problems and you have to pay them money to buy the real software without lmimtations. i had it once, never again. In the program files folder, there should be a folder that was never there before with a name that doesn't mean much, try delete everything in there, some might say no because they are adware running processes at the time. Restart in safe mode by holding F8 (select safe mode). then delete them. Safe mode will start up only the stuff you need, the adware wont be started. That was my experience. If that don't work then you are seriously buggered, you will have to reinstall windows.

Spyware programs such as nasty rogue anti-spyware SpyLocked or Zlob Trojan renews itself very often. So you have to update your anti-spyware program permanently. The other problem can be that spyware renews faster than the update releases. Thats why some anti-spyware programs can't catch new parasites. And SpyLocked is quite new spyware. I found description about manual Spylocked removal on http://www.spywareremove.com/removeSpyLocked.html. I think here you may find more useful information.

The first thing to do is go to safe mode and run the programs again to try and get it off the computer. Another thing is to take the program off your computer if it installed itself. Check Add/remove programs and look for anything that should not be there.
