You're asking a question that is impossible to answer. Pain is subjective. Also, to many of the responders here pain is an enhancement of sex.
What's interesting to note in this forum is that many of the answerers suggest engaging in this behavior. The manner in which they suggest it appears very deviant. Almost like "go ahead and try this thing, but if you do, you're as twisted as me".

Gay men have many varieties available when it comes to sexual positions, limited only by their creativity and limberness. This is certainly not limited to anal sex.
If you are referring to anal sex,
1) understand that such sex is not limited to LGBT people - by any means - at any given time there are a lot more straight people having anal sex than gay people;
2) with the correct amount of patience and communication, is not painful; and
3) once one gets more accustomed to it, one learns to communicate better and reduce even further the amount of relaxation and foreplay that this necessary.
If it hurts, one is doing it wrong.
P.S. Don't bother answering, this user will just pick "TechWriterDude" as Best Answerer. Look at all his other questions. Talk about collusion and flagrant violation of the TOS. You know what to do.

Not really. There are a lot of lesbians who love anal too. I think it just depends on how you like it. Yes, and Wide Awake is right, if it hurts, your definatly doing it wrong.

actually,i don't think so,because i have a gay couple friends of mine. i asked them about the way they have sex,and they say it's harder than they thought it'd be,but all that matters is their love. however,they use some tricks to make it easier,like using non-latex condoms.

Why do you care?
Aren't you the one who's going to send her sister, or is now your niece, to "conversion" therapy!?
Don't even play this game, you're NOT PREPARED!
