Who is bringing you down and is just an all around bad association. Why do you deal with them and will you try to seperate yourself from that person?
As for me, I work with someone who is quite a downer. He's always compaining, and he announces all the time "today is not a good day". His wok ethic sucks and he basically works just because- so he doenst care enough to do a good job. I have no choice but to deal with him becauce of the workplace.
What about you?

I could do with out people who complain about others and their so called negativity. Give the guy a break. He's probably not too happy for whatever reason and you're attitude is just making things worse. Just because he's complaining doesn't mean he has to bring you down. Don't be so weak minded and get a little empathy for your fellow man.

i have an old "friend" who I had a great fight with some while back but we made-up yet they're always bringing up things about my past that I'd like to remove-brings up friends that are no longer friends with me, people who really hurt me in the past and still hurt me emotionally in mentioning them.
She brings out the worst in me. She's a cancer-I have to cut her and all of my old acquaintences out and start fresh. It's never too late for a clean slate.
I'm so excited about the many options and possibilities in my future.
I hope everything works out for you, as well :)

Oh I know how you feel. I work with this one lady that she is always complaining about everything and it really wears you down and the fact that she sits next to me even worse!

last week we got into it because she started complaining about a lotion i put on and I immediately told her to keep stuff to herself because i dont complain to her for nothing.

im in the same place as you.

espeacially when you have so much energy and ur around them they really take it out !

I have this friend who's very insecure and acts kind of cocky to make him/herself feel superior to everyone. I feel like I can never get it right with this person. When I don't give my opinion, he/she gets angry and tells people that I'm "not a deep enough person." When I do give my opinion, he/she always disagrees or implies that I'm stupid. He/she makes me feel small and simple. I usually don't let that kind of thing get to me, but this is a person who's opinion I value very much. I feel like I'm not getting the amount of respect that I deserve, not only as his/her friend, but as a fellow human being. He/she always has to get involved with my problems because he/she feels he/she can handle them better. He/she often tells people things that I didn't want anyone else to know.

I deal with this person because we are, in fact, friends. We used to have a much better relationship, but I think we've both changed a bit, and our ideas and lifestyles clash now.

I don't want to completely cut myself off from this person, seeing as I really admire him/her. However, I can't let him/her push me around and make me feel badly anymore. I think it's time that I distance myself a bit, but certainly not completely. I just don't want to be as deeply emotionally involved with this person as I have been in the past.

I broke off an online friendship recently with a woman, who has since been creating different id's and trying to email me and play mind games.

This sounds bad, but the wife.

She has been making all kinds of noises about moving out of the house and fobbing her tasks on the rest of us, and we haven't failed (as she had hoped for), but she is still making a big stink about it

i understand wat u mean, i have e exact same fren as well. but after we talked it out, she told me it's becoz tat's her way of like, talking? coz she cant find other better topics to talk about. weird i know, but pple do things for different reasons. so my current plan is to try to change her for e better, on e sly, of coz. patiently teach her how she should behave in certain scenarios, n dun juz complain, talk about other things, such as e movie u recently watched, etc. u know? can try, tedious for u i know, but it's a long-term benefit, im still trying.
