You need a wireless print server. These are little boxes that receive a WiFi or Bluetooth signal and connect directly to your printer. If you have a bluetooth enabled printer, you need to configure the bluetooth connection.
The SMC router mentioned above includes a print server.

There are routers available that let you hook it up to the router, SMC is one. You would plug the printer into it and then the wireless connection would take care of the sharing. (You would need to read the manual to follow instructions for setting up the printer on the router, but it is pretty straightforward.)
The other way to do it is to share it from another computer and install the share at your laptop. This way you don't have to buy new equipment.
