In the US, interracial marriage was illegal in most states 50 years ago.
What kind of ridiculous question is this?
Ask the Europeans: it was legal there.
Looked at your other questions: I think you have some issues that you need to struggle with. I am assuming you are from Arkansas, and interracial marriage hasn't even been legal there for 50 years.
BTW, I just looked it up, and schools were segregated in Arkansas until the Supreme Court ruled that unconstututional 53 years ago.
