because our mass is so dense that if any more weight was added then the earth would slowly become a black hole, is this true?

That is not true. However, if the earth's mass were concentrated into a very small ball at the present center then the gravitational attraction that depends on the mass and distance to the surface could become and remain a black hole. Gravity would be so strong that rockets and even light photons could not escape. There is no danger that the earth's mass will become concentrated.

No.

To become a black hole, an amount of mass has to be squeezed into a certain radius, called the Schwartzchilds radius (probably spelled wrong). For the earth it is quite a small radius. Even the Sun cannot become a black hole.

No way ! The sun isn't even big enough to become a black hole and it can hold a million earths.

if you look at the thinking behind black holes... the answer would be no.... if you look at the history channel... they have a weak minded program in which they put a tin foil hat wearing "scients" that said the earth currently has a micro black hole off the coast of florida called the devils triangle.. and then has a white hole off the coast of japan...
of course this is just as I said.. the rantings of a weak minded tin foil hat wearing idiot... it is currently on the history channels website.. be sure and let them know you dont like the way they have twisted real science

No this is not true. No planets are big enough to become black holes. Only stars above a certain size will become black holes...our sun is not quite big enough.

not so ... the earth isn't large enough for gravity to overcome the nuclear forces and compress it indefinitely ... you need to be close to the mass of the sun for that.
