Your husband has to tell her to leave him alone and if she doesn't, he should get a restraining order for harassment.

I agree with all those who suggested your husband should put an end to it. The legal action definitely should be the last recourse. I'm a man and if I found myself in your situation I would expect my wife to make the first move out of self respect and respect for me and our relationship. I wouldn't intervene if she was giving a green-light because in the end one has to face the fact that the respect is not there anyway and something is likely to end up busted any how. It's his move, dear. Ain't no use forcing something that don't fit. The person that informed the ex's family also had a good idea, I think, as last resort.

You're husband should really be putting an end to it.
If he can't, I would say take legal action. You may want to kick her butt but then you open yourself to all sorts of problems (well, in the US where I'm at you do).
I'm not married but engaged and I had the same problem. My ex kept bothering me and my new gf didn't feel comfortable with it-neither did I. She was pretty mental so I called her family and sister (both whom I knew) and told them about it. That may be low to involve her family but she was disturbing me at work which I considered going too far. By having her family know she was really embarassed, especially her sister was motivated to get her out of her "rut."

Assuming that you can trust your husband, it's up to HIM to tell her to leave him alone. I would think he would just do that anyway, out of respect for your feelings.
