Forget the word impeachment. How about execution? That is the standing punishment for treason - isn't it? And yes, treason was committed when Bush allowed his staff to blow a CIA spy's identity. This was done out of spite because the spy's husband found evidence that there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.

Well, we all knew that the I word would be on the table, even though the Democrats assured us that it would not be. It is a ploy to garner votes. They want to try and kick the GOP when they are down. I also feel that the left wants to avenge Clinton for what they view as an impeachment without cause. Most think it was about oral sex and that was not the case. It was Clinton's multiple lies under oath. I personally think that a lot of time and money will be used to pursue this option, but in the end nothing will come of it. It is tragic that politics has come to this kind of BS. This country has more important issues to deal with and the last thing we need is a distraction from real issues that matter to us as a whole. I also believe that an actual crime would have to be committed.

I already know impeachment won't happen. George W. is so far into his second term now I think they are just going to let things ride. A few months ago I would have had higher hopes that it might happen. I guess we will just have to ride it out until elections to see if anyone actually has a reasonable, realistic plan to end all this Chaos. We just can't keep going the way we are. Be patient and be strong. Something else will come along.

Impeachment is the process of trying a president for a crime. Since no criminal act has been commited by our president there will be no impeachment. For all the activist leftists screaming for President Bush's head on a platter, remember the democrats in congress voted for the war.

I don't think it could happen soon enough. This is a president that lies to suit his purpose. He put America's military in harm's way for his own personal reasons. He has lost touch with reality about this war. People are dying daily because he does not have the grace or guts to admit he was wrong. Yes, I definately think impeachment is necessary.

What would be the point? Other than being a way of making a cheap shot at him, there would be no real benefit, and it would take far too long.
They don't really have the evidence to support such a motion either, or they would have already done it.

Far left liberal base of the democrat party continue to spout the term.
Most of those in congress understand that any such exercise would be just that...an exercise.
It may be tried, but most see that there is no basis to support it and therefore it would just come off as a petty shot at the president and politically would have negative fall out.

The be conscious Christian used to propose someone who believed in a loving god and acted like it yet regrettably it now seems to characterize someone who practices intolerance and persecution in the route of others! ‘Moor too’ at present revealed - i visit keep in mind at the same time as being called or referring someone as a christian in oz., became a colloquialism for an outstanding individual, in spite of perception gadget. regrettably American evangelism has replaced all that. regrettably in recent times someone utilising the be conscious god signifies that is someone to steer away from!.

Why are people calling for Bush to be impeached?? Starting a war under false pretenses (which has caused the deaths of thousands of people, including thousands of American soldiers) and wasting hundreds of billions of the taxpayers' dollars aren't grounds for impeachment. And isn't Iraq better off now?
Let Bush continue his reign of terror. Some people are enjoying his presidency.

President Bush hasn't screwed up enough to be impeached. Besides, he won't be president long enough for the proceedings to be carried out.
