one time when i was a little bit drunk on wine, the girl's voice on the other end (trying to sell me a ski vacation) was sooooo cute, i started to ask her whether or not she could ski and if so could she teach me to be a better skiier. Soon enough we were completely off topic and laughing and enjoying the call.
other than that i usually ask them when they will be at home eating dinner - thats when I will call them back and go over their offer

Actually I sit the phone down and walk away for 5 minutes or so.

i usually put the phone down, make a sandwich,fix a drink,see what all is on TV,and then tell them i'm not interested
