I bought him yesterday from a petshop and he had to endure 40 minutes car drive till home (he is 10 months old and neutered). He was quite stressed in the car. I arrived home with him, he ate some raddish leaves and a piece of pear, some pellets, but he hasn't drank water at all and hasn't urinated since I have him and made a couple of pills only.
I don't understand why he's acting this way, probably cuz he is still stressed out?

Rabbits will drink much less water when they are fed fresh fruits and veggies. They get almost all the water they need from these. Especially that pear--those are really juicy. Also, rabbits don't urinate as frequently as other animals. They go less often and in larger amounts.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. He can't be too stressed out if he's eating. Just be sure to give him as much timothy hay as he wants, and he's all set. :o)

He might be still stressed out. It might have been something you gave him as the fresh food. It's usually safe to stick with the pellets. If you do give him fresh food stick with grass and alfalfa as those are the safest. Carrots are also safe. Do a little research and see if there is anything else that is safe.

There is a special water bottle you buy that attaches to the side of the cage. It has a little spout with a ball in the end and they usually drink from that when they need to.

I would make sure he is in a quiet place and left alone for a while to calm down.
Continue to offer him some fresh things like fruit or veggies, he will gain some water from these also.
Watch closely to see if he drinks anything. Rabbits are usually big water drinkers.
Do you have a bowl or a bottle for him to drink from? Make sure you are offering it in the way that he is accustomed to.
If he doesn't take in some water soon I would have him checked.

Make sure he knows where the water source is coming from, show him the bottle by bringing him over to it and dabbing your finger on the water, then putting it to his mouth OR while your holding him, take the bottle out and try it that way. He just needs to get acclimated to his cage and probably is still trying to figure everything out-- Possibly go back to the pet store you got him from and see what kind of water feeder they used in his old cage and try to buy the same one so he sees the familiar object and knows what to do with it.

The reason is stress, and a new environment. Make sure to g ive him time to adjust, also try not to make too much racket or expose him to too much people at first, let him feel comfortable and just make sure he has water and food, in about a week he will be accustomed to his environment...good luck with your new rabbit

I raise rabbits,Its probably just stress. Its possible to actually frighten a rabbit to death. The best thing to do is nothing let him/her get used to the new surroundings. After a couple of days start giving it attention.Limit any loud noise or other racket. after its been in its surroundings it will become more attuned to you.Speak to it in a calm voice an hold it tight to your body to make it feel safe. You can train a rabbit to use a litter box by placing straw in the box.If you let it run loose in the house always make sure they can't get to wires or cords they will chew them an risk electracuting themselves.
