And live to regret it?

By todays standard, I did. Married at 22, kids a year later. I was definitely immature at the time, I thought you could just get married and have kids and live life more or less as I had, but I was wrong. Family demands a father who is there for the wife and kids above his own interests. Only years later, did I grow to the point where I could put others first.

I married when I was 20. Had two kids by the time I was 22. Separated at 23. Divorced by 25. No regrets. I have my beautiful babies (not babies anymore), and learned a lot about life. Have been single for 10 yrs. now. No regrets. However, if I did not have my children to be so thankful for, and had it to do all over again, I would have never married so young. To think, the things I know now and the things I "thought" I knew then; is any age old enough to make such a commitment?

Yea I got married when I was 19 and my wife was 18 and have never regreted it. As a matter a fact we learned how the world relvolves around everyone not just one person or family. And it taught us how to take life one day at a time. And we went thru good times and bad. So we ahve lived good and long together.

I got married at 18... a full 16 hours after being proposed to. I had been dating my husband for about 4 years. He is in the Marines stationed in San Diego, so I moved away from my family and have been happily married for 2 years!!!

I married at 18. I'm currently in pursuit of getting a divorce so yes I regret it and it has only been 1.5 years.

I married young and got divorced young. It is so long ago I barely recall what she looked like. No regrets.

Nope. I married the first time at 25, and divorced at 33. I remarried again just two years ago, at 48. And I don't regret being married the first time, even though we divorced and he hates my guts.. I have my daughter from it, and that's enough to keep me loving him til the day he dies. Not 'IN love', but love! :)

Yes, very young, but in our case it worked out fine. We were together for two years and had one child before we married, 32 years ago. We're probably the exception.

We were best friends my senior and his junior year, and over the course of the school year we found ourselves falling more and more in love with each other. The night I graduated high school he moved in with me and I promised his mom he would graduate (he did, although I did most of his home work for him his senior year, lol)That was in 1994, and in our hearts that is our wedding date. We made it official in 1997, and neither has regretted a day of our lives together.
