The Black Mamba and Taipan have very powerful venom with a mortality rate of almost 100% without antivenin. The Krait has a mortality rate of 50% with antivenin.

The poison from the skin of the world's most poisonous known creature-the tiny, 1.5-inch, Golden Poison Frog (Phyllobates terribilis)-kills the monkey.

Insects that carry poison are mainly wasps, bees and
ants. It is hard to determine the most poisonous one
since the poison toxity will depend upon the victim
sensibility and the number of bites. In certain cases
if the person or animal attacked is allergic to
the poison there can happen an anaphilactic shock
and eventually death.
Also there are some kinds of insects that are not
poisonous but that are carriers (vectors) of deadly
ilnesses as yellow fever. In these cases the insect
itself is not dangerous but if it bites some one
that has that ilness becomes carrier of it.
So if it bites another person after, the ilness can be
transmitted that way.
