LONDON (AP) - Iran warned that 15 British sailors and marines could face charges for allegedly entering Iranian waters and rejected British requests to meet with the servicemen detained off the coast of Iraq.

Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki threatened unspecified consequences for the Royal Navy crew in comments to reporters in New York on Sunday. He described the charge against them as "illegal entrance into Iranian waters." "In terms of legal issues, it's under investigation," Mottaki said.

I think the UK should issue an ultimatum with a deadline.
"Those 15 are in London by the 1st of April or you won't have a nation left. The bombs go at 12:01 am so don't be late"

I wouldn't even give them until April 1. They should only give them 24 hours or carpet bomb Iran from one side to the other.

britain has no military capability to go to war with iran...not to mention no will...iran is just using this for political bluster knowing there will be very little risk of reprisal...they will talk big and then release the kids in a few days or weeks...I read they want to use them to exchnage for some high level RG we have been snatching throughout the region in recent weeks...not going to happen!!! As usual iran will just further cement it's rogue nation following.

I think the UK should attempt to negotiate the release of them and if that fails send special forces to get them back. And of course the US will be their to back them up for anything that happens unlike our other allies like France.

I'd say that is a declaration of war,

if Iran kills them, and England, with their pacifist turned people,
just shrugged their shoulders and looked away,
England would be known as the biggest Pus*ies in the world.

They shouldn't worry as they know the USA would have their back, I would hope....
