LJN was a company that made wrestling figures a looooong time ago, like before Hasbro. These LJN figs varied in size (I think 8" to 13") and were made out of a hard, rubber-like material. They had absolutely no articulation.

The toy company's name LJN is the initials of Lewis J Norman where Jack Friedman was employed in the 1960s before leaving to form LJN. LJN is responsible for many great action figures of the 1980s including:

Wrestling Superstars
Thundercats
Bionic Six
Dune
Tigersharks
Indiana Jones
AD&D & others.

Here is an action figure site that has a guide to many of these figure lines http://www.action-figures.ca
