If you are taking birth control pills, doubling 0r tripling them is not going to prevent conception in a more assured way, instead it may harm you to be doing this.
Ask your doctor, I am no physician, but it seems, that any properly described dosage to any medication, should be strictly followed . . and if you have questions as to this, well, ask for the answers from the physician who prescribed IT!

I don't know why you want to take more than the recommended dose, but yes any medication not taken as prescribed can cause problems.

I've never taken Birth Control so I don't know what the specific side effects are, but I'm sure they are not pleasent, and if you took way too many you could end up in the hospital.

Be Careful!

I once forgot to take mine so I took 2 the next day - OMG I have never felt so sick in all my life LOL!! It was an overdose on hormones (but not dangerous) as the pill tricks your body into thinking it is pregnant so I imagine the feeling I had was like morning sickness. Luckily I am 35 weeks pregnant now and have never had morning sickness so I really feel for those who do.

Yes you can. If you have trouble remembering to take your pills get on a different type, like the t that is inserted in you, the shot, or the patch.

as in one day or throughout your life time? In one day yes you can. You are only supposed to take one per day. Women have been taking it for years, and do until they can no longer have kids. So throughout the life time no, i don't think so.

yes you should be taking one a day. It is fine to take two in a day if you missed a day though.
