Do you feel that Liberals are forcing people into not feeling they have the right to religion?

I believe that liberals are insecure on this issue.

Well, I am a liberal and I do feel like laws are constantly being made with the help of Christianity.
The first bill on the Bill of Rights is about religious freedom. It covers both your right to practice any religion that you'd like, and it also covers those of us who do not want to be ruled by religion.
You have the right to practice any religion that you want, but supposedly the laws that make up the United States of America are not to be governed by your religion either.
When the founding fathers came to the new world to establish a country, they did so because they felt oppressed by the religion being practiced in England.
Our country isn't supposed to be ruled by Christianity and the foundation of the country was built upon such.
Give the founding fathers a thumbs down if you'd like, but it doesn't change the fact that the First Amendment protects me as well as you.

The need for many to legislate morality. That version of morality often has religious ties.
