I think your question is basically wrong. Mahendra Singh Dhoni, S. Sreesanth and Robin Uthappa are all new players in the Indian Cricket team. Yuvraj Singh and Irfan Pathan are also relatively new. In fact, except Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, Saurav Ganguly and Anil Kumble, all the other players are not too old to the Indian side. But new players alone can not deliver the goods. An ideal team should have a balanced composition of youth and experience for best results. Hence it is unwise to fill a team with fresh faces only.
One of the biggest allegations we hear in the process of team selection is the regional bias when fresh faces are inducted into the team. Often talented players from other zones are overlooked and some less talented players from one particular zone find their places in the national side, as the selector from that particular zone has more clout than the other selectors. There is obviously some truth in this.
For every young player, it is their dream to represesnt Team India. Match fixing comes in connection with deciding the outcome of a match unfairly by external factors e.g. book makers. These have no visible connection in selection of new players.

I would like to throw some light into the sad state of cricket selection in India.
The selectors are taken from diff. zones and there generally exists a zonal bias in selection.
Add to that the vested political interests of influential men like Raj Dungarpur, Sharad Pawar and Niranjan Shah, it becomes pretty difficult to make things transparent and as a result politically motivated selections (some Mumbai and North zone players) become a permanent fixture in the team.

Actually its not like that. when the coach was john wright new players are not given chance. After chappel came chances were given to new players like munaf, shreesanth, mongia, dinesh karthik, etc. but they have not found to be as much successful as we were expecting. So i also agree with u that more chances are given to the new fresh players. India should search for fast bowlers. Searching should be done and according to new plan BCCI is going to give new chance to the fresh players AFTER THE MEETING ON 6TH APRIL. New coach is going to be appointed. They are going to make unbelievable CHANGES IN THE SQUAD.And according to me there's no match fixing and all.

Any new player which gets involved in cricket gets involved in Ad's i thing that's the main reason why India lost. You can earn major cash in ad industry, this is what the players want. This was the only sports which India dominated in, looks like this too is slipping out of its grip.

There is a matter of 'Money!'
We don't have new players in team because established players don't want to empty their seats.

Ganguly is cunning politican there is more groupism and politcs in team after his return. Ganguly played a big role in defeat of of team ind against bangadesh and sabotage Indian campaign in World cup.
ganguly is main culprit for defeat against bangladesh. He is politician he his supporters played negative cricket deliberately to defeat the team and humiliated dravid and chappell. He played for self and scored consistanly but not a single innings was not held for team victory. How can his negative approcha helped team?? Hew as playing silly shot getting out when team required his service. His innings was shaky.ganguly wasted more balls than the runs he scored. The strikerate and average of bangadesh and other country opening players are better when compared to ganguly averagel
His poor fielding and poor running wkt and unwilling to take singles cost more runs to team Yuvraj Scored 47 runs in 10 overs
Rest of team scored 50 in 19 overs
Against burmada he scored 89 in 114 balls wasted 25 balls that is around 4.6 runs per over... compare it to the indian teams average of 8.26
Ganguly was struggling while batting against burmuda, and got 3 lifes
Harbajan singh went wktless in 2 matches
dhoni failed with bat
Zahirkahn was wktless in firest match and in he took 2 wkts against SL but he gave more extra runs b'cuz of erratic bowling.
VC captain sachin failed completely with bat
Dravid was criticsed by chief selector and board members and ex cricketers but he was highest rungetter, and scored 100 and won mom. Other players din not score 100 against even Bermuda also… iit is these playrs contributed to team defeat why u blame coach and captain only. I
If these players are not ready to play for team and why u captain and coach coach? IF CAPTAN AND COACH HAS TO GO THEN ALL THESE PLAYERS ARE ALSO EQUALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR DEFEAT AND SHOULD BE KICKED OUT..
whole team should be replaced
