why is flushing out a bunch of cells killing a baby?

Using logic, rationality, biology, science, evidence, intelligence, honesty etc.

And talking early stages here...

How is a bunch of cells with no brian, no organs, no shape a baby?

With no awareness, no emotions, feelings, knowledge, memories, preferences etc?

How many remember days in the womb thinking man this is soooooo boring what can I do here... yo lady hurry up its like prison here?

And next stages it may look baby shape somewhat but still not vialble, aware, thinking or anything.

In late stages these notions may apply but for fuk sake at 2 weeks people saying you are killing a baby?

All abortions killing babies?

get real

Its the girl that matters not what is being made on a production line inside her.

Ie my sister, friend, daughter, girlfriend...

That would be the person I cared about...

She can always grow a new one when readdy, when it wont mess up her life, when a future offspring will be in a position to have a bright happy and successful future not a life of suffering

This could be a never ending argument....it is a personal decision and I believe that abortion is a sensitive matter, but i agree with having the choice. Ill leave it at that.

I believe women should be given the choice, however I think that it should mainly be used only when the woman is physically unable to handle it. I do not like the morning after pill personally because to me, it tells women and girls to go ahead and do their thing wether they are protected or not. I also believe that if a girl is raped and there is a pregnancy from it, there are usually mental problems that incur from baring a rapist's baby and also would be a stigma on the child because of it. Also, if born, unbelievable or not, the rapist has parental rights just like anyone else. That is abhorrent!
If, however a woman gets pregnant and it is inconvenient for them at that point in their lives, they should have to suffer through the pregnancy and at least give the baby to someone who has not been able to. This option, I think more women reject because of pride..."I am not giving my baby away!" but in truth, all it is is pride because they are willing to do away with the child by terminating it....I could go on all night.
Anyway, I have four beautiful girls and myself would always choose to birth and keep mine, but I still think it should be a choice.
Good Question!

That 'bunch of cells' is all that it takes to make a person. It is the building blocks of the person.

If you were going to build a house and had all of the materials on the land ready to start and someone took them all you might say that someone took your house. It wasn't a house yet but it was all that you needed to build it, right?

Bottom line to me is that if a person wants to excuse something that they want to do, they will find a way.

Its not a bunch of cells when its 13 weeks and completely formed down to eyelashes and brows and its just gaining weight, able to hear and know its mothers voice and suck its thumb. Abortion is wrong unless, the baby has been conceived by rape!!

i really dont think that abortion is murder if it is done in the early stages.

it is NOT a baby when most abortions take place so it is not murder and it is not taking a life. It is called a foetus. Baby & Foetus = Not same, otherwise we would call our babies foetus' when they are born. 'Hi, this is my foetus Jack, he was born 2 months ago.' ????

This is my opinion and im stickin to it. I've never had an abortion, I've been with my partner for 4.5 years and if we were to find out I was pregnant and did not want to bring it into a life where we weren't ready for it mentally, financially and emotionally, then we would seriously consider an abortion.

Because YOU started as a bunch of cells, and "Ta-da!", here you are! Still today, without living cells in your body, you cannot be alive. You are still made up of many, various cells. Your blood cells die, you die. Your brain cells die, you are considered brain-dead, etc. etc. The key is "The cells are ALIVE", and with time, they form US...me, you, and Mr. McGoo. From conception, it is life. Just depends on your personal beliefs and your conscience awareness level.

Try to get pregnant for 5 years. Then you are pregnant for one week and are excited beyond belief. You're going to have a baby! Then you miscarry and you are devasted. Sure, you only lost a "bunch of cells", but ask anyone who's miscarried if it only felt like they lost a "bunch of cells"

Here's my thoughts on this subject:
1. Thou shall not kill! that makes it simple
2. Did you start off as a toad and then transform into a baby when you were born? NO! You started as a human being and you have been that same human being since conception. NO matter what you looked like at any given point in time, you are still a human.
