prioritize, You must have your driving license to get around take care of that first.

2. Tax and insurance need that to drive legally.
You can not do anything in jail.

3. Pay on or pay off your bedroom etc.
4. By know it may take a while to do all these things but when you get to this point you should be debt free unless you purchase something else-payments. Know it is time to go to school you could get a government grant this way you do not have to pay the school back.

Good Luck!

Don't you think that most people have not had exactly the same problem in their lives. What you have got to do is prioritise. What really is the most important thing to deal with first.Your debt commitments must be paid.Your college course must also be high on your priorities. Can't you do without your car?and avoid the costs involved. The new furniture would be at the very bottom of the list.At some point you have to realise that you have to make sacrifices to get the most important things seen to. With a better education,a reasonable job with prospects all the things you have denied yourself will become possible. You have to accept that it can't all be done at once, much as we would like it.

Concentrate on your college course and let the rest take care of it's self. Never mind about new this and new that. Whilst nice to have not important just now. Your car well you may find that someone at college can give you lift instead of you getting yourself deeper into debt.

Meanwhile think about getting a week-end job as that would help you make ends meet perhaps.

Life is just a bowl of cherries but make sure you do not pick too many cherries all at once elst some will go bad.

Put them in order from most impportance to least importance. (bills come before new carpet) Then save $ and pay for as many of those things as you can afford to buy each week until you have them all. Don't pay for it with a credit card. Just save up so that you can pay for it in full.

My husband and I have a crappy tv thats about to go out any day now. We could easily put a new one on one of our credit cards but we chose to save up for 2 months and pay it off in full.

The only things you should ever buy on credit are vehicles, mortgage, student loans and medical bills (if necessary). Everything else you should pay for with money that you actually have.

For the duvet, bed, etc- look into layaway.

Hey buddy,
Your right it is all about money; when you're concerned about the material things in life - money is the answer/problem.
What you need to do is contemplate what exactly you want get out of your life as a whole. Once you figure that out, then do everything you can to achieve it. As far as "doing it all" goes, you'll find that with a sense of direction, life becomes less daunting of an experience. There's no easy answer to your question, because everyone has different hopes and aspirations. But if you are one of the lucky ones you'll realize your goals and see all the wonders life has to offer.

Take Care & Good Luck.

This is important to you that shows the creditors, and IRS.
Write a letter and explain your situation, don't say to much but be honest, simply explain, what you mentioned.
I am got my drivers license, and I am attending college, it is so demanding. It seems there no way out. Not knowing your age and area this is a suggestion. Do not delay, calling the IRS and writing a letter, think about this everyone kicks a lying dog when he is down. Credit people can understand and lower payments, (you would be surprised how flexible they can be, talking to the right person. IRS CALL them personally think positive, and If you do not get a good response, call another day and make sure you get the persons name. www.fastweb.com -- www.gov.grants. com (state) there is a lot more...

Financial planning and prioritize...find out whats necessary and deal with that ,and always remember to put some money away if there's any left, don't spend unnecessarily.... if it's not needed and the cash is low don't get it. pay your bills first, then find cheaper alternatives to other things.... but make sure items are still durable or else you'll have to buy them again in future and the costs will just add up.... good luck, and it's always good to ask elders as well since they've gone through it too :D

Life's a bit*h sometimes - I have been there so many times - you can only do one thing at a time - your bedroom can wait if you got bills to pay and just put money away every week/month - I'm sure if you bring someone back they won't be looking at your bedroom carpet!!

It certainly is! Never rains it pours eh!? Maybe prioritize...speak to your loan provider and see if you can make some affordable monthly payments? Get a 0% interest for 6 months credit card to pay off your debts. Leave the bedroom til you can really afford it....hope it all works out for ya!....put a quid on the lottery and cross ya fingers! ...good luck!

Prioritise!!
You dont NEED a new bedroom and all that stuff.. If you cant afford it look for 2nd hand stuff on ebay or your local freeads.
Do you need your driving liscence or could you walk everywherer which would save you money on petrol?
As for your debts, if you cant manage them then why dont you cotact your card companies etc and tell them you are having probs.. they are more sympathetic if they know than if they have to send you reminders and court summons etc! Good luck... I've been there and done that!
