I plan to apply this fall to PhD prgrams, and I am looking for schools that particularly have a focus on women's literature and gender studies in their English department. I already have a few in mind, but I'd like some more schools to consider. If you have any suggestions of schools I should check out, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

Go to the best program you can get into. All the top ones will allow you to do a thesis on Women's Study.
Schools in the top five include Berkeley, Stanford, Harvard and Yale. Other good programs include places like Duke, Minnesota (in fact -- most of the schools in the Big Ten), Pennsylvania, etc.
US News has a ranking of the best literature departments.
