A good balance diet with fresh fruit and veg daily may help, avoid dairy products for a bit, substitute cows milk, cheese and yogurt with soya or rice milk, goats cheese and yogurt.
If you are still smoking you may have first signs of COPD or emphysema where the bronchi or alveoli is damaged and you are having difficulty getting the oxygen around the body - breathlessness can also be a symptom. If you think this is a possibility - get off the fags - go get checked.

Tiredness can be a symptom of depression. I sympathise with you but now I go for an hr nap once my hubbie gets home (to watch the kids) and I feel totally revitalised. Are you eating enough carbohydrates too? Such as brown bread, brown rice and pasta etc - these slowly release energy

Hi there
My dad had this problem, he was getting enough sleep but always knackered!
In the end the doctors found what was wrong with him - its called sleep apnea.
Go to www.sleepapnea.org that may give you a better idea if you have this or not.
Good luck x

I can sympathise with you... have you ever had glandular fever? I've felt tired pretty much constantly since i had it 4 years ago, and the doctors have never offered any other explanation than... "you've still got glandular fever" Annoying! It can affect you for years afterwards apparently. Maybe your problem too?

Are you feeling depressed or down? Lethargy is a symptom of both. Or you could be deficient in vitamins? Vitamin B is good for energy.

Even is you get enough hours of sleep, you could suffer from sleep apnea. Some people have trouble breathing during their sleep. Snoring could be one indication of having this problem.
