I am a size 14, so tiny little g-stringy things wouldn't suit me. What sort of swimsuit should I get for my hols?

I think that a 50's style swimsuit would be a nice change (for everyone). I think that it is also sexier because if you choose the right on it can flatter your shape and if the color looks right, like a black w/ polka dots paired with a splash of red it would definitely bring that 50's flavor. Plus i think that its is ridiculous on how a two piece can cost almost $40 and it only like less then 5yards of material!

I think fifties-style swimsuits are sexier for every size. It's a good way to show your style on the beach or by the pool. Everyone is always going to be in a bikini or one piece when it's hot, so why not stand out in something different. Since they are in style now, you shouldn't have a problem finding a size and color that suits you best. Good Luck!

I'm a 14 too and I always go for shorty bikinis or tankinis. Also depends on how big your breasts are as if you are quite big then the triangle tops that so many bikinis have nowadays won't look too good. You can mix and match in a lot of places though so I'd say shop around! You'll def find something, no worries! Try Primark - pretty and cheap - or for something a bit more upmarket I'd try H&M! Happy shopping and happy holidays!!

listen gal they do bikinis in size 14 they wouldnt do it if they thought it didnt look right. if you dont feel comfy in a bikini coz you feel fat or stupid then you could get swim shorts and a strappy top that you could swim in. dont bother about whatever anyone else thinks wear what u feel best in hun or if you have a few months or weeks to go till you go on holiday then try and loose a bit of weight. dont be offended but if thats what you want to do because you want to wherea bikini and you think you;d feel better if you were a size 12 then do that i dont mean stop eating altogether i mean just dont eat as much sugary things. but if i was in your shoes then i would still where a bikini balls to everyone else your. theres people that are size 18 that where skimpy things now that dosnt look rite but they dont give a ****.
you are who you are and thats how god made you so do whatever feels right hun xxxxxxx please do not be offended by any of this answer. xxxx

Hmmm, it really is whatever you feel comfortable in....I'm size 14 too, and if I was going on holiday, I'd buy a bikini where the bottoms are more like shorts - much sexier and more flattering on the bum!

For me it would be the swim suit, but that's only because I could never get away wearing a bikini! I'd get a black one with some sort of boob protection that shows a bit of cleavage if you want to be sexy.

Something that you are going to feel comfortable and not self concious in. That way you will feel sexy in satorial elegance...just like the pin up girls of the blighty magazine who used to wear 1950's style swimwear.

Ask your Dad about the blighty magazine and see his toes curl when you mention it.
