Is the new book "The Children of Hurin" the same as the tale "Narn I Hin Hurin"?

The "Narn I Hin Hurin" that appeared in the Unfinished Tales.

I'm guessing it is a variation on it. Basically the same story but with some of the different writings that Tolkien produced over the years.

it is Incorporated into it as its about Hurin and his son Turin who defy Morgoth the first dark lord and the unfolding tragedy .
