T mobile is good for usa. I don't go to canada or mexico so i can't say about there. I love pay as you go because if you don't use it much what you can do is load one hundred dollars and it lasts for a year and that is much cheaper than a contract

Yes, it is called prepaid service. All major carriers have it.
