I need a few ideas for a "how to" speech. This is for my speech class. We have to teach the audience step by step how to do somthing. Keep in mind; we must be able to perform it in a class room. We can not do something simple like tying shoes or baking a cake. Also keep in mind I will be infront of 20year old and up. Thank you!!!

Not that I don't think simplicity is good... my professor forbid it from the speech.

In my speech class I did how to color Easter eggs. College students always have that kid inside that loves to do that stuff.

There was also people who made puppey chow, proper positions for sports, or to make a resume.
You do not know how many people in college still do not know how to make a resume, since most colleges do this in the senior exit class. They have not learned yet.

Also, just go throughout your day and think of things you do. You might find an Idea there.

I performed one of these for my college speech class.

I presented, "How to Make a Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwhich".

Others presented things like:
-How to Make Cheesecake (you can do it without an oven).
-How to read a book.
-How to tie your shoe.
-How to make your bed.
-How to make a phone call.
-How to perform CPR.
-ETC....

Remember that just because you're in your 20s doesn't mean that people wouldn't enjoy a little simplicity.

How to apply eye shadow, how to polish nails (the simple, fast technique), how to conduct a successful job interview, how to apply effectively for college entrance, how to ease the tension in a relationship after a fight (any type relationship).

Make homemade salsa. Just watch food network for examples. Or animal balloons. Those are pretty easy once you get the hang of it, but would probably be entertaining for your class.
