i dropped my ipod in water, what should i do?

i know this is gross but i dropped my Ipod in the toliet and i dug in there to get it, it is glitching, and wet, what should i do???

Keep the power off until it dries out (a few days if you can open the case). However, it's probably dead & you'll need a new one. You can sell it on eBay now as an "iPoop" :-)

I have to say, you're more than likely screwed. Most electronics, if you leave the power off for a while (at least a few days) to let all the water dry out, then they'll work fine.

However, the iPod really doesn't have an on/off switch, just a sleep mode. For the most part it's always on. I would just try leaving it alone and in sleep mode for the next day or so, and only try to use it again when you're sure that it is 100% dry, even inside.

Put some detergent into the water.
