what would you do if you were so unhappy?

I'm in cosmetology school, but I hate it. I was pretty much forced to go, but I hate it. I find myself being moody and sad all the time. My uncle is paying for it, so if I quit everyone will be disappointed in my, but I can't help it, I don't like it, and that's not what I want to do with my life

I wanted to go to college to do something with computers, but I'd pay for it myself...

what would you do if you were in my situation? Take the chances of your family hating you and go to school for what you want, or stay and be unhappy, for THEM

I've already talked to them, he said he won't help me pay for anything else because I "wasted his money" they dont listen, they are trying to control my every move.

My husband would help me pay for it.

Do what you want to do. And the sooner you get out of the school your uncle is paying for, the less pissed he will be.

Although I'll warn you, the computer field is still oversaturated with people, which makes getting a job highly competitive. You can get into computer and find a job, but you have to know your stuff and be dedicated.

You'll never be good at something you hate to do. Talk to your uncle tell him that you appreciate his interest in your future but it's not the future you want. Then tell him that you are going to go to college to learn computer programming or graphic design (whatever you are interested in) and that you will get the loans necessary to do so...then do it....your family just wants you to succeed in life, they will get over thier disappointment and you will be happy

if you can go for your own go ahead..take the course you think that makes you fulfill, have an extra income for supporting yourself. but if you can't do that, as a working student well ou better enjoy their choices, and before anything else why don't you try to have a heart to heart talk to your family regarding the course you want to take..explain it to them that you won't be a successful in that course coz you don't like it and you're not enjoy to take it. it's so nice to have a job like playing only..it means you enjoy your work.

talk to your uncle and your family and tell them this is not about a childs play, this is your future and you must choose it.
if they really take care of you,they will let you do it.
if they did not let you do what you like to do, tell them you will do it by yourself, and dont need them at all, they will surly let you this way.I have had such an experience, thats why I am so sure.
