I am an awesome parent-completely opposite of my parents guess that's why i try so hard

I'm mostly like my dad, although my husband seems to think I'm more like my mom. Only my daughter could tell you for sure...I try to be the best mom I can be and still keep my cool.

I think I was a good parent, both of my children grew into excellent adults...now I'm working on my granddaugher....so far, so good,,,,of course I made mistakes, but who hasn't?
In some way I'm like my mother, but I try so hard to stand by the theory that I will never say that to my kids!!!

I am a sick, silly, germophobic and protective parent. I laugh at the same silly things my baby laughs at, I do everything in my power to keep her away from strangers and germs and I refuse to send her to daycare or let her go to other people's homes to be babysat. Wherever I go, she goes. In comparison to my folks, I strive to be the exact opposite. They were and still are religious fanatics who deprived my sister and I of a normal childhood.

I'm just like my mom, I let my kids get away with less than my mom did though, but I do let them slide thru a little too easy some times...damn kids are just too cute.

no i am different. my dad was abusive and my mum set no boundries. my kids dont get away with doing what they want and theyr not spoilt like i was

I try to give my children as much praise as I do critisism. That way they do not think that I am picking on them. I think that it is important to tell them what they do right just as much as what they do wrong.

im a mixture and i like to think im slightly more easy going but i know at times im not! i like to think im a good parent, dont we all but i suppose my son would have to give you his opinion on that! xx

i'm mostly like my mom .. i belive in slapping a butt when it needs it, but i have a heart also.
