i have put on weight but don't feel any different am i ment to? i had my 12 week scan and it was fine, is there any way i can get another scan before my 19week one?

I am 21 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child and all 3 have been very easy. I sometimes forget that i am pregnant. I always think that if it wasn't for the ultrasound i would not think that i was. Be thankful, some women have a very hard time the whole way through.

You are blessed. I had the same feelings. I worried because nothing was wrong! =-) If your scan came out okay, then don't worry about it. This is the time to just sit back and enjoy and wait for that first kick to come. Remember there are some women who suffer through the whole pregnancy and others who don't. I'm thankful that I was okay after the first 13 weeks (morning sickness until afther then.) Now that I'm almost 22 weeks along, I'm happy to be feeling the baby. Sounds like everything is fine and noraml, but if you are really worried, talk with your doctor. Congratulations!!!

The only way you can have another scan is to pay for one. There is absolutely no need at all for you to have a scan at the moment. It's very common to not feel pregnant at this stage, it does not mean there is anything to worry about.
In about 4 weeks you will start to feel your baby move.
Enjoy feeling like this, because it all gets very uncomfortable near the end!!

Consider yourself lucky. Everyone has a different story to tell on how they feel. If your scan was ok then stop worrying and try to enjoy being pregnant without the downside of being pregnant. I know it seems forever before your next scan but there really is no need to have another one if you are feeling fit and healthy. Congratulations as well!

I didnt feel any different with my first either until I was about 30 weeks. I wasnt even showing at 20 weeks and felt like a right fraud and that I had been cheated out of my pregnancy!
I you are concerned call your doc and say that you have been experiencing pain and bleeding and they will send you for another scan. Obviously you shouldnt have too many scans as they are deemed not good for the baby. If the 12 wk one was fine i wouldnt worry about it too much! xx

I'm about 14 weeks too and I don't really feel any different. I get tired a bit easier but that's about it. I suppose we are just lucky - I didn't vomit at all either...
I had my first scan last week and right up until I saw my baby wriggling about I had this irrational paranoia that i would be revealed as a fraud and it would turn out not to be pregnant at all!!! LOL...
Just enjoy it - I'm enjoying never feeling I have to suck in my tummy anyway... I am beginning to look quite preggers but I don't really feel any different either - beats being sick as a dog though eh?

I felt the same way...I was so paranoid about baby...at 23 weeks...I still am sort of....until I feel her move each day....Unless you tell your dr. that something is wrong, I don't think they'll give you another scan. Sorry. But the fact that you don't have any negative signs is a good thing! jut take each little change as a good sign!

they will only usually give you another scan if baby is not responding to anything speak to your midwife if you are really worried but i wouldnt be as i was sick all the way till 16 weeks but my friend has gone till 34 weeks with out putting any weight on or having any pregnacy symptoms apart from babies kicks now but all her scan have comer back fine

Hi, well you're probably just lucky for not having all those terrible pregnancy symptoms, but if that makes you worried and insecure, talk with you doctor, he's there to advise you. And if you want another scan, ask him for it. You have every right.

I say thats nice. I am 14 weeks pregnant with my 3rd, havnt gained weight yet, but have every sympton(unpleasent) under the sun.
I hope you go throught the rest of the pregnancy like this a lot of people do.
