Many. The whole part about who shall cast the first stone was invented later - it wasn't in any of the copies we have from the first or second century. Some clown added it.
*interesting how the "christians" attack you personally for asking the question. It shows their mindset.

As someone who has read both the Bible AND many of the early Christian writings (including the Nag Hammadi), I understand that most of the approved canons in the Bible were not penned by the people they are attributed to. The earliest book of the "Big 4" is the Gospel of Mark - written after 70CE. The Bible is not a history book, it is a book of faith. It is not the words, but the meanings behind the words that are important.
The Bible as it stands today is probably as consistent as it could be. Everyone views events differently and no ones memory is perfect. Most of the books were translated from ancient Greek and there will always be inconsistencies in translation.
Do I think there was a sinister motive to the translations or the way the "approved" books were chosen? I don't believe so.
There are, however, many Churches that have their own "rules" which have no basis in the Biblical truth.
The dating of Mark is fairly accurate because of the historical allusions found in the Gospel of Mark to the events of the First Jewish Revolt between 70 and 75 CE, which happened after Mark was already dead.

Inconsistencies are every where. Even in science and the big bang theory.
Most religions have their own practices, many which are based on human tradition.
Any thing, mentioned in the Bible ( which is not a complete compilation ) can be construed to mean anything to anyone, much like lessons in life.
The best thing to do is live the way YOU choose, so long as you are not forcing another to stumble by your actions.
Avoid those who would cause you to stumble, but do not hate them, but strive to show more maturity and peace, with less anger.

You are obviously not Christian, so why do you even care what their beliefs are or what they are founded on. In addition, since you are not why have you read the bible to know first hand about any inconsistencies. Or, are you repeating someone Else's opinion.

This is not necessarily the "wrong forum" -- After all the president believes in a "god" of sorts, at least enough so that he has always maintained that "God told him it was all right to attack Iraq" - so you see Bush has used God to confirm what he himself wanted to do, and did. An example of "inconsistencies" in the Bible rests within the Ten Commandments. "Thou shalt not kill" --- and yet the Bible speaks of fathers killing sons, sons killing fathers, wars and more wars. No, it doesn't specifically say that the latter form of killings is correct. But it speaks of these killings as though they are just another fact of life.

Christianity does not have Priests. When you say Priests, you are talking about a specific Religion such as Catholic. Educate yourself and then try another question.

Wow, it seems as though because you think you have poked a hole in Christianity that you will be able to bring it to its knees. Let me be the first to say that Christianity is bigger and more relevant than you will ever be? The answer to your question is faith, I have faith in God, Jesus and all of it. Your belief in nothing is unoriginal, just like you

What do you have against Christianity? Did someone force you with bodily harm to accept Jesus and you didn't? I doubt it.

Humans are flawed - but we do the best we can! Most of us anyway...
