I am looking for a book of fictional short stories about animals killing people which is told from the animals' points of view.

I recall reading a book review in either the Nation or Harper's magazine several years ago, but all I can remember about it is it was written by a woman, it (maybe) contained one story about a tiger attacking its trainer, and it was written without any moralizing. That is, it wasn't an extreme animal rights diatribe. It was merely philosophizing on how animals make choices based on survival, not morality.

Try going to a library's web sit and then looking for animal short stories. There are a lot of them, but that might get you closer to what you are looking for

Don't think this may be exactly what you're looking for, but Animal Farm by George Orwell may be in the neighborhood.
