It's kind of a double bind. They show interest if there is something interesting, but what defines interesting?

'Cuz the media is not in the business of advocating multiculturalism, equality, fairness and all of that. They are in the business of making money for their corporate owners. Native tribes do get occasional mention, but only in the local media. For instance, have you heard of the disputes between the Onondaga Nation, the Oneida Nation, the Tuscarora Nation, the Seneca Nation, the Cayuga Nation and the Mohawk Nation and the State of New York? Those disputes get a good bit of newspaper coverage here in New York State, but you rarely, if ever hear about them outside our state. The national media do not consider these disputes to be of national importance, and they certainly can't make any money reporting on them outside of New York state. Sorry, hon, but good or bad, that's the way it is! ...Apologies to Walter Kronkite...

unlike many other cultures, groups they do not cause the media to come snooping around them.........they stay quiet until someone does approach them............they dont need all the stimulation we need, they have their traditions embedded in them from generation to generation there is something to be said of such a humble group after what the whites did to them............................................many others should learn from their silence and humility.................
