...Do I disassemble these from the line of the cleaner? All I have to replace is the housing of the back-up valve; Is there an online manual or instructions somewhere? It seems locked, but it looks like a twist off in the pics...

Can you help?

If you only need to replace the housing, your back up valve will either be held together with a large nut (unscrew counter clockwise) or it may me an older model that has two screws holding the case together. I would guess the new case has the nut type closure. If you will need to remove the hose from the valve, there are small white nuts threaded over the hose on both sides of the valve. Unscrew them and pull the hose off the barbed ends of the valve. Take note of the direction the valve is facing (it is marked showing the direction of the water flow). When replacing the small white nuts to the hose, slide the nuts over the barbed end of the valve first, then push the hose over the barbed end and then tighten the nut over the hose.

You don't necessarily have to remove it from the feed hose. If it's the G-52 valve, there is a big ring around it that opens to take it apart. (They get very difficult to move after awhile.) The best thing to use is something like an oil filter wrench to get a good grip on the ring. It should be able to give you the leverage you need to open the valve and remove the mechanism. You may also need to hold the bottom half of the valve body with something (a large pair of channel locks will do), but do that carefully to avoid cracking the body of the back-up valve.

Most guys look better clean shaven. But then you get guys like Dominic Monaghan, who definitely looks better with a little scruff. The thing is, scruff is a small bit of hair, not the full blown beards hipsters are sporting these days. That just looks like Duck Dynasty - nasty.
