I have been gaining so much weight since about month 5. 10 pounds one month, 7 pounds the next, and 12 pounds this last month. I dont eat too much and im not lazy. I have gained almost 30 pounds total and I still have 7 weeks to go. So is there anything I can do to not gain sooooo much weight. My doctor doesnt seem to concerned. So should I worry or should I eat less and exercise more? I have tried everything. Thank you.

I gained 87 pounds with each of my two pregnancies. About six months after I was back to my normal weight. If your doctor isn't concerned you shouldn't be either. As long as you are eating healthy and staying active you will be fine.

Remember that everyone is different... so the amount of weight you're gaining is perfectly normal for you! If you're already active and eating healthy and are continuing to gain the weight, realize this is something beneficial to the baby! I know it stinks to pack on pounds... but just look at it as something you're able to give to your child... I wouldn't start worrying about weight loss or whatnot until after the baby comes. There will be plenty of time to get the pounds off. Just don't stress too much now and remember... your little one is probably needing these extra pounds! Feel greatful that you can already give him/her a gift!

Well by the time i had my son i had gained about 30 pounds also. The doctors say that 30 pounds is about what is normal to gain. I was worried too but about 1 month after my son was born i was back to 130. It will be fine im sure.

They say anywhere between 25-35 is what they want you to gain unless you were underweight before you could gain more. I did like you and gained 11 pounds in one month, but my doctor wasn't really excited about it. I have 8 more weeks and I have gained 26 pounds thus far.

I have 7 weeks to go also and I've put on 36 pounds so far. My doctor isn't concerned with my weight gain either. I wouldn't worry about it...

Congrats!

As long as you were not over weight before you got pregnant it is OK to gain weight. I don't know what you drink but I have found that if you drink only water you can curb the weight gain. Good luck to you and don't worry too much it is not healthy for you or the baby!!

I agree with the first answerer. Best to trust your doctor. Probably nothing to be concerned about.
