In windows, these "history" and "temp internet" files are saved in multiple places.
A good cleaner is CCLEANER, which you can download from www.download.com
Install the program, hit Analyze, and then clean. You can then open your internet browser, hit TOOLS at the top, then Internet Options, and set it to clear the history every time you close the browser. (all of the history and temp internet files will still be saved somewhere, so you'll have to keep running CCLEANER every once and a while)

This is what you do, go to Tools just above the back/foward buttons and address bar, then internet options..
once there find History (explains that it keeps pages pending on the days its kepped, and to the ones ur visted) click "Clear Histoy" or change the amount of days you wish to keep your sites that your been to.

There, there is one that says "Browsing History"
click on the delete button and other options will appear. You can also click on the delete button on those if you want to delete those too.

At the top of your browser you will see tools
click on browser options click on clear URL S
then click on clear search also you can clear all your temp
files click internet options click delete files
