I have a 6 year old daughter and she loves to pick her nose and I have no clue as to what to do to keep her from picking her nose.We have tried every thing and still no go. Please help me on this.

really a challenging thing for a mo0ther in this situation.i think u should keep smthink which makes awful him.by using it repitly may be he gonna left this habit.

I'm sure that she will grow out of this as time goes on.
If not she will be like some people that you often see while your stuck in traffic. They are the ones that when you happen to look in you mirror you see them picking their nose, they sure do get busy when traffic is at a total stand still.
Really she will grow out of it, make up games and things for her go do. Keep her mind occupied and she will start forgetting about it. I really wouldn't dwell on it too much as she may just want to do it even more if you do.

Does she have nose bleeds? Some kids will pick their nose until it bleeds. If this is the case, if she realizes that her nose picking is causing the nose bleeds then maybe that will help her to stop. If not, then I would just tell her that she needs to go to the rest room and use a tissue. Lots of kids pick their noses and it's not really that big of a deal, but we certainly don't want to see it. I'm sure she will grow out of it eventually. It will probably take a kid her age teasing her to get her to stop, until then, just remind her that if she has to pick then she needs to do it in private.

Encourage her by giving her a star or a sticker on a calendar for everyday she goes without picking her nose...after two months she earns a reward of some type and she'll have broken the habit

LOL...my little sister used to do this when she was nervous. I would just be persistent and ell her not to pick her nose everytime. She'll get the point eventually.
