I rarely walk away from an argument but if someone did that to me I would consider myself the winner. Responding to something by saying "whatever" is the equivalent of saying "I'm not intelligent enough to have a debate" IMO.

yes,especially with those ppl who LOVE to argue,and get under your skin,and when they cant,and are walked away from,it kills them and they try like h*ll to P*ss you off,and if you just dont say a thing and walk away,then you won,leaving them all distressed,lol.

I just say WHATEVER I dont care okay!? then if my mp3 player is near me i turn it on and turn it up (pretty dumb I know)

well, i don`t think i`ve ever used that tactic personally...i have to have the last word so i usually run my mouth, i don`t think i have it in me to just shrug, say "whatever!" & walk away!!!
