Ok, without all the drama...you did the right thing calling your doctor. There are many things that can cause these symptoms after childbirth ranging from the low end: anxiety to the serious end: DVT (blood clot). Sit still, wait on him to call and don't freak out. That will only raise your blood pressure and makes things worse.

if you are suffereing with a tight chest and difficulty breathing the doctor will tell you to go to hospital

Do you have high blood pressure?
Your body takes a while to recover from childbirth - your WHOLE body.
If it gets too bad, you shouldn't wait on your doctor, go to the hospital!

That doesn't sound good! If your doctor's office is separate from the hospital where you delivered, maybe you should call the hospital. They told me if anything weird happened, I should call the doc that treated me at the hospital

It may be anxiety from the hormones of birth. I too had this after my third child. Monitor it. If you find it to distressing, so to the hospital.

YOU NEED TO GO TO THE ER........SOUNDS LIKE SYMPTOMS OF A HEART ATTACK.......NOT TO FREAK YOU OUT........BUT IT DOES!!!!! MY FATHER-IN-LAW HAD A H.A. AND THOSE WERE THE SAME SYMPTOMS. GET OFF THE COMPUTER, SCREW THE DR. AND GET TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM NNNOOOOOOWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
