Be there for her and try to encourage her to get help. I dealt with a similar problem of low self esteem and I wished my friend would of stuck by me. It especially hard if she was brought up with people disrespecting her take the time to help her explore her feeling and some causes of her feelings once she open up to you maybe she will open up to a professional.

Depression is not something that can be easily treated or spotted. She might be battling post partum depression or mild depression.

Sometimes, it can be her upbringing as well. For example, if her parents treated her like she was worthless, she will always feel worthless regardless of what is going on in her life. Also, something might be affecting her at work.

There could be many things, so you just need to be a good friend and listen and be there.

If she is anxious or depressed all the time, consider recommending professional help.

Depression and anxiety are chemical imbalances and with medication, it can make her feel normal again.
